Individual Therapy for Relationship Challenges

We are wired for connection and need to be connected with others, but there is a lot that can get in the way of feeling safe enough to connect with others in an authentic way.

No matter who the other person or people are in a relationship, relationships are hard. Sometimes you can feel like you aren’t connected enough to others and sometimes you can feel like you are so connected that you have lost sense of yourself.

I work with individuals on a variety of relationship challenges, including processing past hurts in relationships (both things that were said and done to you that were painful and times when others didn’t show up for you in the way you needed), frustrating relationship patterns, how relationships with your family growing up are impacting you currently, and how to identify what you need, to name just a few examples. We work together to identify how you feel in your relationships, explore your beliefs about relationships and who you are in relation to others, and discover the boundaries, communication skills, and other tools that you need to feel best in your relationships.

In our work together, you can be assured that I will never tell you which relationships you should or shouldn’t be in. I will be here to help you explore what feels right to you and support you in finding the confidence to shape relationships to fit you best.
